MADE WITH LOVE...

ANITA FARRINGTON BRATHWAITE
A few years ago I started out with crafts and invitations. People had positive reactions to invitations that I would send to events that I was hosting - birthday parties, wedding showers, Kwanzaa ect…..Out of that grew requests to make invitations for themselves or friends and family members. That word and mouth network has grown into a viable sideline.
INVITATIONS - for small to large
functions, including showers, weddings, children's and adult birthday,
holiday including Kwanzaa. My invitations almost incorporate fabric or
ribbon as well as high quality paper…which make them unique.

CRAFTS
Specialty fabric photo frames , thematic (ie., for children, bridal, multicultural fabric frames)
Line of scented decorative popourri
envelopes, fabric, lace, or very fine paper) suspended from ribbon. They're
called "Hang-ups". These are thematized as well similar to the
above.
CLOTHING
I offer a line of children's vests
and outerwear made to order. Usually there is a multicultural theme in
the fabrics that I select. I like to work with tapestry and usually combine
it with polar fleece or fake fur, and animal prints. Children's vests are
around $45.00 and jackets up to $250.00.
MY INSPIRATION
My mother who I always remember
working on some type of sewing or craft project…usually several at a time,
and being amazed at how she could create something from nothing. It is also my
therapy…it is so different from what I do professionally. It opens up an
important window inside of me that relaxes me and gives a tremendous source
of contentment.
